New Patients

Relax… you’re in good hands

We would like to make your first visit to the practice as pleasurable as possible. You will be greeted by one of our reception team who will ask you to complete a medical history form.  Alternatively you may download a copy by clicking on the Medical History Document button (located on the right of this page) and bring it when you attend your appointment.

If you have any problems filling in your forms, we will give you any help you need. Please bring a list of any medications that you are currently taking.

Your dental examination will include:
Examination of your teeth and gums for signs of dental disease such as tooth decay or gum disease.

Mouth cancer screen.
A full examination is carried out on the soft and hard tissues of the mouth for signs of abnormalities.
Any relevant x-rays that may be needed to aid in complete diagnosis.

Discussion of findings and the treatment options available. This may include the relevant x-rays. At that time an estimate of treatment costs will be discussed along with total cost and an idea of timescales. A written treatment plan and estimate will be provided and your next appointment can be arranged at the end of your visit.

Children

Our aim is for children in our practice to grow up with great teeth and the knowledge to help them keep their teeth for life.

We encourage families to come for a check-up and meet our team of dental professionals who will be happy to discuss all aspects of a child’s dental care from tooth brushing to orthodontics (straightening).

We invite you to join us and work together to give the whole family something to smile about!
